Volatus adds Trimble PX-1 RTX to its delivery drones

Volatus Aerospace has integrated the Trimble PX-1 RTX solution into its commercial delivery drone service for accurate and robust positioning and heading. The module gives Volatus clients a turnkey route to highly accurate aerial data acquisition and fully remote drone operations in real-world missions, including beyond visual line of sight.

The PX-1 RTX uses Trimble's CenterPoint RTX corrections alongside compact GNSS-inertial hardware to deliver real-time centimetre-level positioning and precise inertial-derived true heading. The redundancy it adds is aimed at reducing operational risk from poor sensor performance or magnetic interference.

CopterPIX ERE95 Mini folds into a backpack

The ERE95 Mini by CopterPIX is built for GNSS-denied missions and integrates a long-range, anti-jamming communication system supporting distances of more than 20 km. It has two hours of endurance and can carry up to 5 kg of payload for up to an hour, with integrated daylight and thermal imaging for surveillance.

The frame folds completely, collapsing into a backpack-sized kit for rapid mobility and field operations. A modular "puzzle" architecture allows quick swaps of SDR modules, optical payloads and navigation solutions, and a mechanical and electrical quick-connect interface lets operators change payloads in seconds.

AeroVironment puts visual navigation on the Puma LE

AeroVironment has integrated its visual navigation system kit with the Puma Long Endurance small unmanned aircraft system, delivering GNSS-denied navigation. The kit uses computer vision and onboard processing for GNSS-independent navigation.

Using downward-facing sensors, cameras and onboard computing, it performs visual inertial odometry — capturing and analysing terrain imagery to estimate true aircraft position in real time. It fuses continuous visual data with motion inputs from inertial sensors to calculate position, velocity and orientation, and transitions automatically between GNSS-enabled and GNSS-denied modes with zero pilot input.

MatrixSpace Portable 360 Radar

The Portable 360 Radar is a rugged, transportable radar kit delivering close-airspace awareness with panoramic coverage for rapid-response counter-drone operations, from stadiums and large public gatherings to border security and battlespaces.

The MatrixSpace platform unifies threat awareness across multiple networked Portable 360 Radar units and other sensors without compromising local operation. Combining AI edge processing with MatrixSpace AiCloud Enterprise software gives central command centres a common operating picture and airspace activity analytics.

SatLab SL8 pairs a laser with RTK GNSS

The SatLab SL8 Laser RTK GNSS receiver combines dual cameras, GNSS, an IMU and visible laser technology, adding non-contact measurement, image-assisted targeting, CAD live-view stakeout and a built-in LoRa radio.

It achieves 2 cm accuracy within 10 metres, which enables data collection on bridges, tunnels, riverbanks and other sites where traditional GNSS methods are restricted. Image-assisted targeting through SatSurv software displays laser points directly on live imagery for precise aiming. Its automotive-grade IMU needs no manual calibration and improves measurement accuracy by up to 40% in GNSS-challenged areas, while a multi-protocol LoRa transceiver provides stable transmission beyond 15 km across multiple RTK brands.

ProStar and Tersus partner on utility mapping

ProStar Holdings and Tersus GNSS are partnering on a precision mapping solution for utility and critical infrastructure industries, integrating Tersus's survey-grade GNSS receivers with ProStar's PointMan Underground Utility Mapping Software.

The partnership uses ProStar's LinQD open API integration platform, designed for interoperability between emerging technologies and legacy systems, with the aim of uniting equipment manufacturers and service providers in a shared geospatial intelligence ecosystem.
