Under the agreement, Hesai will remain the primary LiDAR supplier for Neolix's next-generation Level 4 autonomous urban delivery vehicles, commonly known as RoboVans.

The collaboration will see multiple Neolix vehicle models equipped with automotive-grade LiDAR systems, including Hesai's long-range ATX sensor and the FTX blind-spot detection LiDAR. These systems will be deployed across Neolix's mass-produced driverless delivery fleets. The strengthened partnership highlights both companies' efforts to accelerate the commercial rollout of autonomous logistics vehicles capable of operating reliably in complex urban environments.

Neolix has established itself as one of the pioneers in the autonomous delivery sector, focusing on the application of Level 4 self-driving technology in logistics scenarios. The company introduced one of the world's first mass-producible Level 4 autonomous delivery vehicles in 2018 and later secured China's earliest regulatory approval for road operation of such vehicles in 2021.

Over time, Neolix has developed a vertically integrated capability covering software and hardware development, vehicle manufacturing, and intelligent fleet scheduling. The company reported rapid business expansion in 2025, driven in part by advances in its mapless autonomous driving technology and continued growth in fleet deployment.

Recently, Neolix announced that its autonomous delivery fleet had collectively surpassed 100 million kilometers of real-world driving, marking a major operational milestone for the global driverless delivery industry. The achievement underscores the growing maturity of autonomous logistics technologies as companies move from pilot projects toward broader commercial operations.

The company's vehicles are now deployed in more than 300 cities across 17 countries, including markets such as China, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Portugal. These deployments have allowed Neolix to validate its autonomous systems across diverse climates, road conditions, and operational scenarios as it expands internationally.
