Set to be highly affordable, designed for beginners, and offering surprisingly capable video-recording specs, DJI’s latest drone series is exciting news for everyone outside the US.

Continuing perhaps the most disappointing non-AI trend of the past year or so, DJI has announced another awesome new aerial camera drone that likely won’t be available to customers in the United States.

DJI has launched its new beginner-friendly (and budget-friendly, for that matter) camera drone series with the introduction of the Lito X1 and Lito 1. These new drone options are entry-level models with beginner-friendly designs, similar to the DJI Neo.

However, the Lito X1 and Lito 1 do look quite capable and are set to offer some pretty compelling specs and features for aerial cinematography, with solid sensors and improved flight capabilities for bigger, longer outdoor projects.

Just announced by DJI, this new series of aerial camera drones is designed for beginners and those aspiring to enter the aerial content creation space for the first time. The Lito series features two entry-level aerial camera drones that are tailored for high-altitude photography and videography.

DJI states that the goal here is to be the perfect first camera drone for a young newcomer getting into aerial content for the first time, looking for outdoor adventures and basic controls, yet sophisticated enough not to need an upgrade quickly as they level up their skills.
